Santiam Pass Ski Patrol
The Santiam Pass Ski Patrol is a volunteer, non-profit group organized to assist the
skiing public by providing rescue, first-aid, and promoting safe skiing.
Available positions with the patrol include skiing and non-skiing classifications.
Alpine, Nordic, and Snowboarding fall under the skiing classification. The Auxiliary
position can be filled by any qualified person independent of their skiing ability.

contacted at a later date and given a detailed plan that will enable you to patrol after
successfully completing your training. We also have an Application (click here)
that you can mail to the patrol if you would like
Requirements:
Pass
a Ski Test (Scheduled Test Dates)
OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care
[National Ski Patrol]) First Aid Card
Complete On the Hill Training
Course
Complete a minimum of 10
training days
Register
with the National Ski Patrol as a Candidate Patroller
